Im April 1954
nahm Bill Haley & the Comets die Scheibe "Rock around the
Clock" auf: Dies gilt als Geburtsstunde des Rock 'n' Roll -
anlässlich des 50. Jahrestages strahlte der deutsche Fernsehsender
ZDF eine Sendung mit dem Titel "50 Jahre Rock" aus,
moderiert von Thomas Gottschalk, u.a. mit Ian Anderson und der All

In April 1954
Bill Haley & the Comets recorded the number "Rock around
the Clock": the birth of Rock 'n' Roll! On the occasion of the
50th anniversary the german TV broadcasted "50 Jahre Rock"
("50 Years of Rock") with Ian Anderson and the All Star
